We went to Kansas over the weekend. Roger was on a baseball American Legion team the summer after he graduated from high school. They were runners up at Nationals. Anyway they had a little reunion baseball game against this years high school team. It was a lot of fun to see Roger back in his glory days of playing baseball. His team did really well for not playing together in 6 years. They defeated the high school team 13-3. Roger was the first one to get a hit on his team so he is feeling pretty good about that( and also that he was still able to fit into his old uniform) Nelson loved watching his daddy play and would cry every time he had to go onto the field. If you notice in one of the pictures Nelson had a little OCD trying to organize the dugout! Nelson also had another little birthday party. He of course loved having another birthday cake and getting MORE presents. It was a quick trip but, we all had lots of fun!

Looks like fun. I'm impressed that you can take Nelson in the car that long. Grayson is horrible just going to Ben's parents and that is only 4 hours away!
Looks like Nelson loved hanging out with the boys. I'm not sure if Rogie really did "fit" into his uniform--looks like he had a little "junk in the trunk!"
What a fun filled weekend. It sounds like Roger still has his baseball skills and Nelson is a little baseball boy in the making. But what will his dad do when he wants to play tennis instead?! I also loved the picture of Nelson organizing the dugout. It's classic. I was a little disappointed that Hayley didn't bring her cheerleading outfit to wear for the occasion.
No way Roger can still fit in his old uniform?? Jer can't even fit into the suit that we got married in. That is awesome! We need to hand out soon before we move =)
